The Company is involved in the distribution, installation and sales of SMD and LED energy saving lighting solutions. Their client base boasts a number of household names, with their target market being warehousing, food packaging, egg producers etc. The Company has more recently started to make sales under a lease arrangement, typically 3 years. This is proving to be very successful, though it does cause an initial cash requirement issue for the business. The Company is seeking an initial fund/investment of £50k specifically earmarked to enable some of these leased sales deals to happen. They have had an offer from HSBC Trade Finance but the terms and conditions are somewhat onerous so they are looking at alternatives.
